As mentioned, Zook is in start-up mode looking for ambitious, motivated and hard-working individuals with the necessary technical skills.  Ideal candidates are those that are willing to be part of a start-up.  In this position, you will be involved in all stages of the software development cycle. You will design, shape, develop, and test the website from start to finis while working with 1-2 others on the technical-side of the company in developing this concept.

ENR’s Number 1 ranked Global Design Firm - SNC-Lavalin, is looking for candidates to fill positions in the Highway Engineering division of the Infrastructure Group.  Our offices are located in west end Toronto, situated along the waterfront and close the lakeshore park system.  All engineering candidates will be considered for full time employment from summer/co-op students to EITs right up to Design Engineers with extensive prior MTO project experience.

The requirements for these progressive positions include having or working towards obtaining an Engineering Degree in the Civil discipline.  Candidates registered as EITs working toward getting a P.Eng. or those with a P.Eng. will be given preference.  Knowledge of MS Excel and AutoCAD software is desired, however consideration will be given to those willing to learn.  Knowledge of InRoads software and prior MTO project experience is a definite asset.  Duties would include assistance in the detail design of road construction projects including earthworks, alignments/geometrics, drainage/hydrology, roadside safety, construction staging among others.  Other duties would include quantity calculation, digital design in AutoCAD, report and specification preparation, etc.  Good communication skills are a must.
